Balsamic Herbed Tofu, Tomato, Pesto and Kale Sandwich
4 slices of Brownberry 100% Whole Wheat bread
4 oz. of herbed tofu, sliced and pressed to remove excess water
2 tsp. pesto
2 tsp. balsamic syrup
6-8 slices, roma tomato
2 large kale leaves, stem removed
- Lay two slices of bread on a cutting board. Spread each slice with 1 teaspoon of pesto.
- Top with equal amounts of tofu.
- Drizzle the tofu with equal amounts of balsamic syrup.
- Top with tomato slices, kale and the additional sliced of bread.
- Cut in half and serve.
