Blueberry Lemon French Toast
French Toast:
6 slices of brownberry 100% Whole Wheat bread
2 eggs
½ cup milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter
Blueberry lemon syrup (recipe follows)
Blueberry Lemon Syrup:
2 cups blueberries
⅓ cup + 2 tablespoons water, divided
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1½ tablespoons cornstarch
